Why is the shelf life of your products only 6 months?

Our ingredients are ALIVE!  They are in their purest and freshest form, and we want you to experience them in this way.  Think of our products as food for your skin. When you purchase fresh fruits and vegetables you wouldn't keep them around when they are no longer fresh. The same goes for our ingredients, they are at their best when used immediately.

 

If I'm not going to use a product immediately, as you suggest, what can I do to keep it fresh?

If you purchase our products and aren't going to use them right away, store them in the refrigerator until you're ready to use.  

 

Do I need to be concerned about allergies?

ALWAYS READ INGREDIENT LABELS

Many people have allergies to nuts, latex, and gluten. We don't specifically use nuts, but we do use nut oils such as macadamia, hazelnut, and kukui.  If you have nut allergies, you may want to reconsider purchasing that product.  

 

If you have a gluten allergy or intolerance you may want to avoid wheat germ oil. We do use wheat germ oil in our EXHALE dark spot serum.

 

When will I start to see results?

Depending on the product you've purchased, with daily and consistent use, you may start to see results in as little as 3 weeks, but it takes the skin a minimum of 28 days to renew itself, a bit longer as we get older. You should always give a new product a minimum of 1 month before deciding it is or isn't working for you.

Why don't you use boxes?

We don't use boxes because we care about trees!  We know you're just going to throw them out, so we've decided to give you all the information in an "insert" that comes with every product.

 

How and where are your products made?

Our products are made in small batches in New York City.

 

What is your return policy?

We will take back any product you are unhappy with.

Why do you only ship within the US?

While we would love to support our tribe worldwide, right now, this is impossible. Donna J is too small a company to comply with the strict regulations outside the US.
